Your Community | Types of Community | Kids Academy
Does your kid know about the community? Do you know how to explain it to them? Well, don’t worry this tutorial will help you explain the concept of community to your kid in simple and easy words.

What is a community?

A community is a place where people live together. They interact with each other and live by knowing each other. It is very important for the kid to understand the importance of living in a community and what is the actual meaning of living in a community.

Types of communities

There are many different types of communities. In this lesson, we will cover the three most common types.

1. Urban
2. Suburban
3. Rural

Urban community

An urban community is large and highly populated. This means that a big number of people live there. Tall buildings, skyscrapers, heavy traffic, and transportation are key identification of an urban community. For example, New York City is an urban community. In urban communities, you will find everyone busy with their tasks, with heavy traffic and a lot of hustle and bustle. That is why New York is called the city that never sleeps.

It remains busy all day and all night. Most people living in apartment buildings while very few live in homes. You will see a lot of apartments and homes packed with each other due to the high population.

Suburban community

A suburban community is located near a city but not as populated as an urban community. There are less traffic and smaller buildings. Some people travel to the nearby urban for work, which is called commuting. Many people live in homes which are very beautifully made. They have amenities such as large backyards and garages.

Rural community

A rural community has very few people and buildings. It mainly consists of farmland. There is more nature in the rural community, you will see animals, trees, grassy lands, and pure water. people live in small houses that are spaced far apart even miles away. It has a very peaceful environment with no honking and people rushing and heavy traffic.

So, this was a small lesson on communities. In which community would you like to live?

Mountains can form through folding, volcanism, and faulting.
Folded mountains form when rock layers are squeezed together and are pushed upward.
Many folded mountains occur at convergent boundaries where continental crust collide
The Himalayas stretch through the borders of China, Nepal, India, and Pakistan is the most towering mountain range on Earth,
Volcanic mountains are created when melted rock erupts onto the earth’s surface. Many volcanic mountains occur at convergent boundaries. Most of the active volcanoes on earth are concentrated around the edge of the pacific ocean.
Fault block mountains form when tension causes the lithosphere to break into normal faults.
At normal faults, the lithosphere drops down. The pieces left standing form fault-block mountains.

#rounding #placevalue #mathtips #homeschool

This video shows you how to round decimals to the nearest thousandth. First, you need to determine what number is in the thousandth position. Look at the number to the right and if it is 5 or greater you round up. If it is 4 or less, you keep that digit the same (round down).

Improved math is a channel created to provide additional instruction on essential math concepts. I’m passionate about math and I know first-hand how important math concepts are in the real world.

Teachers, parents, guardians, homeschoolers, and students can use these videos to help reinforce math skills. These math videos are designed to help teach yourself math or provide self-study math tools to assist when additional instruction is needed. Teaching math and learning math has changed the way many students learn in this virtual environment. Having on-demand math videos can provide math tutoring needed when children are not able to get help from their teachers after school hours or when trying to do math at home.

The library of math tutorials that I create can also be used as supplemental instructional material for homeschool math. Each full-length video comes with a subsequent knowledge check or math practice problems which serve as a virtual math topic worksheet to test your understanding of each skill. These videos can be paused to work out the problems on your own, then unpaused to check your answers. All of these videos can be found under the Knowledge Check playlist.

I also have a library of shorter videos (less than 1 minute in length - shorts) that are quick math tips and tricks on basic math topics. Some of these short math help videos include problems that you can work on yourself and submit your answers in the comments. They are all listed under my Math Tips and Tricks playlist.

Improved math is creating more videos every day to cover topics from 4th grade, 5th grade, 6th grade, and 7th-grade math. The videos focus on fractions, basic math operations, geometry, and ratios but more topics are being added all the time. If there is a specific topic you would like to see covered, drop me a comment in one of my videos and let me know!

Free math help videos will be posted every Thursday and Friday. For additional math resources, check out my math help website at improvedmath.com where I post math worksheets and answers along with additional context on math basics.

This video shows you how to multiply 2-digit numbers by 2-digit numbers using the lattice method. Once you know how it works, it is really easy to do. It doesn't really save any time compared to traditional multiplication, but it is fun to work through.

In this rapidly changing era, Artificial Intelligence (AI) is continuously expanding its reach. From industry to industry, AI has become a central topic of discussion, and the education sector is no exception. The rapid pace of technological advancement has already begun transforming the ways we teach and learn.

This raises crucial questions: What is the future of education? Will AI replace teachers, or will it serve only as a supportive tool? Where does a country like India stand in the global AI race? And most importantly, how should we respond to the rapidly expanding knowledge base and the explosion of information in today’s world?

In this special episode of TO THE POINT, Panchjanya’s Consulting Editor Trupti Srivastava engages in an in-depth discussion with educationist Ankit Awasthi on these critical issues.

If you use AI for education, you need to watch this video. More than two millennia ago, Plato made a criticism of writing that perfectly applies to the disadvantages of using AI as an educational tool.

Plato understood education better than most: we are relational beings. Our way of learning is deeply linked to the personal and physical relationships we establish when studying. Hence, interaction with other human beings is the key to developing our skills and cementing knowledge in our souls.

What do you think of AI? Let me know in the comments!!!

This chemistry video tutorial discusses the relationship between cell potential and gibbs free energy. It contains plenty of examples and chemistry practice problems. It discusses the signs of the potential energy and delta G in determining if a reaction is spontaneous or nonspontaneous. The system is in equilibrium whenever delta G and E is equal to zero. This video discusses Faraday's constant which relates the electric charge to moles of electrons per mole of substance. 1 volt is 1 Joule per coulomb. voltage is a measure of electrical potential energy per unit charge. delta G represents the maximum amount of electrical work that can be performed by a reaction. This tutorial contains problems where you have to find the value of n in order to use it in the equation delta G = -nFE. To find it, you need to balance the half reactions and make sure the moles of electrons are the same using the least common multiple rule. In addition, you need to calculate the cell potential of the net reaction using the standard reduction potential of the half reactions. This lesson is basically a section in electrochemistry.
