Through a teacher-led class demo, students observe a simple water cycle model to better understand its role in pollutant transport. Using kitchen or lab equipment, the demo simulates a point source of pollution in a lake and the resulting environmental consequencesโone way in which pollution is affected by the water cycle. A student worksheet is provided.

Someone asked me a while back to make a video on simple sentences. I hadnโt thought of how tricky that might be to some. As a learner, I always thought of Spanish as a code. Maybe this code will help you as well!
Basically it involves a subject and a verb. And we can also add some other things to the sentence. In this video weโll talk about one of those things: conjunctions and give some examples.
Please like the video and share with others who could benefit. More Spanish lessons coming.

Students move through the engineering design process as they write Arduino code and use a โdigital sandboxโ to create new colors out of the three programming primary colors: green, red and blue. They develop their own functions, use them to make disco light shows, and vary the pattern and colors of their shows. The digital sandbox is a hardware and software learning platform powered by a microcontroller that can interact with real-world inputs like light, while at the same time controlling LEDs and other outputs.

Students practice their multiplication skills using robots with wheels built from LEGOยฎ MINDSTORMSยฎ kits. They brainstorm distance travelled by the robots without physically measuring distance and then apply their math skills to correctly calculate the distance and compare their guesses with physical measurements. Through this activity, students estimate parameters other than by physically measuring them, practice multiplication, develop measuring skills, and use their creativity to come up with successful solutions.

This calculus 2 video tutorial provides a basic introduction into probability density functions. It explains how to find the probability that a continuous random variable such as x in somewhere between two values by evaluating the definite integral from a to b. The probability is equivalent to the area under the curve. This video also contains an example problem with an exponential density function involving the mean u which represents the average wait time for a customer in the example problem.

๐ช๐ถ Get ready to jingle and jangle with the 4-Cent Gents in โCoins!โโa fun and educational song that helps kids learn the names, values, and faces of a penny, nickel, dime, and quarter! Perfect for preschoolers learning about money, this toe-tapping tune makes early math skills exciting and memorable. ๐ฐโจ
This 90-minute compilation is filled with catchy ABCmouse songs and engaging stories designed to support your childโs learning journey in reading, math, and more!
๐ต Song Lyrics:
We jingle and we jangle,
you see us all aroundโ
In a piggy bank or pocket,
or even on the ground.
We come in different sizes.
We do not look the same.
I wonder if you know each
of the four of us by name.
Iโm a President Lincoln penny,
A coin that is worth one cent.
When you save a lot of us,
Together we can be well spent!
Iโm a shiny five-cent nickel.
President Jefferson is who you see.
If you give someone five pennies,
Youโll get back one of me!
We jingle and we jangle,
you see us all aroundโ
In a piggy bank or pocket,
or even on the ground.
We come in different sizes.
We do not look the same.
I wonder if you know each
of the four of us by name.
Iโm a very thin little dime
With President Roosevelt's face.
If you have two nickels or ten pennies,
Then they can take my place!
I'm a shiny George Washington quarter,
The largest coin of the four.
I equal one nickel and two dimes,
Worth twenty-five cents at the store!
We jingle and we jangle,
you see us all aroundโ
In a piggy bank or pocket,
or even on the ground.
We come in different sizes.
We do not look the same.
I wonder if you know each
of the four of us by name.
We jingle and we jangle,
watch for us all aroundโ
Sometimes we are lost,
but we are also often found!
Now you know each coin
by name, by value, and by face,
Make sure to save us up
and keep us in a safe place!
