The learning continues in this next lesson of the Kids Academy chess course.
Our students learn that the letters and numbers used to name pieces allows player to know and record the location of each piece. This is important in tournament play. Recording all moves and captures allows chess players to study and learn from their games. The children practice naming several positions of pieces on the board.
The video then carefully explains why the center of the board is the place of power. From the squares, D5, D4, E5 and E4, pieces move and can capture many pieces. Learn to Play Chess | Types of Draws | Kids Academy

There are 5 most common ways to tie the chess game.

1. Insufficient checkmating material
This type of draw happens when none of the two players can make a checkmate. Which means that none of the players have enough moves or pieces to get a checkmate.

2. Threefold repetition
It happens if a chess position is repeated three times in a single game by both players. It means that a piece makes the same move back and forth three times. When both the players make these repetitive moves, the game is draw.

3. Stalemate
It happens when one player has a safe king, but it has no moves left because it is surrounded by the opponent. However, it is surrounded in a way that the opponent cannot attack its king.

4. Draw by agreement
This happens when one player offers the other player to draw the game. It happens when a game is already reaching the draw condition. The opponent can either make their next move or they can accept the draw offer.

5. 50 moves rule
This happens when both players play 50 moves without moving a pawn or capturing a piece, any player can claim a draw. This kind of draw is least likely to happen

Here we are presenting you with a fantastic Zoo Tally Chart under the system called Tally Marks. The primary purpose of tally marks is that it can help us organizing the data, objects, and information. This information can be in the form of numbers, people, or alphabetic, etc. It is a great option to perform the counting task of grade 1 kids.

By using Zoo Tally Chart, you can collect information about animals. For example, if you have ten animals, you can either simply write it “Ten” or you can also write it by using some tally marks. Tally marks are in the shape of lines that make you learn about how many animals are present in your list. Tally marks are symbolized as “IIIIII.” which is the actual method of using the tally marks.

If your digit of the object is 11, then the tally marks will be written as “IIIIIIIII.” This makes a total of 11. The line in the middle of the four tally marks as the crossing line will be tally mark number 5.
For example, if your zoo tally charts have 12 elephants, then tally marks will be written as “IIIIIIIIII.” This makes a total of 12.
