Why don't you have your child try it? The first lesson is FREE!
Go to https://bit.ly/31Vx5nq to book your free Spanish lesson with Spanish tutors with Overcome the Barrier.
When K-12 students study foreign languages, the content mostly focuses on grammar, memorizing vocabulary, reading and writing. And those are all important elements to language learning.
But is this truly the most efficient and engaging method for your child to learn a foreign language?
I would argue that the answer is a definite No, just by looking at the current situation. How come after 2-6 years spent learning Spanish in school, most students, by the time they graduate, canโt even say how their day is going in Spanish?
Perhaps you think that itโs unrealistic to expect a 17-year old to be fluent in Spanish.
And you may be right, in the context that languages are currently being taught. In a regular classroom, there is one teacher for 30 students. So how can we possibly expect each student to be exposed to that one-on-one interaction in a foreign language, which is a key element to learning that language? This is impossible to do with that many students.
Homeschooling parents may be one step ahead of the game, except that Spanish may not be your native language.
So thatโs where Overcome the Barrier comes in. We bring that 1-1 live interaction in Spanish with native speakers right to your childโs laptop.
Weโve developed a curriculum for our teachers to follow, which will take your child from 0 all the way to become fluent in Spanish.
Whatโs more, after each lesson, the platform creates personalized homework for your child based on the mistakes that he made during class.
Now I would argue that this is the summit of personalized education in the field of foreign languages.
So what are you waiting for? Sign up your child for a free 30 min demo and have them experience the power of 1 -1 Spanish immersion with native speaking tutors.
Learning Spanish through 1:1 Spanish classes with Overcome the Barrier is the most authentic and efficient way to learn Spanish, because you learn directly from YOUR MISTAKES with NATIVE SPEAKERS.
The first lesson is FREE, and then the price is only $6 /45 min lesson. Go to https://https://bit.ly/31Vx5nq to book your free Spanish lesson, or visit us at www.octb.us

Most singular nouns are made plural by simply putting an -s at the end. There are many different rules regarding pluralization depending on what letter a noun ends in. Irregular nouns do not follow plural noun rules, so they must be memorized or looked up in the dictionary.
Plural Noun Rules
There are many plural noun rules, and because we use nouns so frequently when writing, itโs important to know all of them! The correct spelling of plurals usually depends on what letter the singular noun ends in.
1 To make regular nouns plural, add โs to the end.
cat โ cats
house โ houses
2 If the singular noun ends in โs, -ss, -sh, -ch, -x, or -z, add โes to the end to make it plural.
Bus - Buses
Dress- Dresses
Bush - Bushes
Bench - Benches
Box - Boxes
Blitz - Blitzes
3) If the noun ends with โf or โfe, the f is often changed to โve before adding the -s to form the plural version.
wife โ wives
wolf โ wolves
Exceptions:
roof โ roofs
belief โ beliefs
chef โ chefs
chief โ chiefs
5 If a singular noun ends in โy and the letter before the -y is a consonant, change the ending to โies to make the noun plural.
city โ cities
puppy โ puppies
6 If the singular noun ends in -y and the letter before the -y is a vowel, simply add an -s to make it plural.
ray โ rays
boy โ boys
7 If the singular noun ends in โo, add โes to make it plural.
potato โ potatoes
tomato โ tomatoes
Exceptions:
photo โ photos
piano โ pianos
halo โ halos
With the unique word volcano, you can apply the standard pluralization for words that end in -o or not. Itโs your choice! Both of the following are correct:
volcanoes
volcanos
8) Some nouns donโt change at all when theyโre pluralized.
sheep โ sheep
series โ series
species โ species
deer โdeer
Plural Noun Rules for Irregular Nouns
Irregular nouns follow no specific rules, so itโs best to memorize these or look up the proper pluralization in the dictionary.
child โ children
goose โ geese
man โ men
woman โ women
tooth โ teeth
foot โ feet
mouse โ mice
person โ people

Matter is made up of atoms.
An atom is subdivided into protons, neutrons, and electrons.
The proton and neutron are found in the center of the atom and make up the nucleus.
The negatively charged particles called the electrons are found orbiting the atom.
The orbit of an electron is described as an electron cloud.
