This chemistry video tutorial provides a basic introduction into the half reaction method which is useful for balancing redox reactions in basic solution and in acidic solution. This video shows all the steps needed to balance the oxidation reduction reaction. First, separate the reaction into two half reactions. Balance the number of atoms and the charge on both sides. In acidic solution, you can add H+ and H2O to balance the particles. In Basic solution, you can use OH- and H2O to do so. Add electrons to the side with the highest charge to balance the total charge on both sides of the chemical equation. Make sure the number of electrons are the same on both half reactions before adding the two to get the net reaction and that's it.

English punctuation for kids is a very important grammar lesson. It forms the basics of sentence structure and its understanding. It is very important to learn English for the kid and for the kid to have a clear understanding of using the right punctuation marks in their sentences.
Beginning with the very basics, let's learn about the ending punctuations for kids in this lesson. Ending punctuations are the punctuations that are used at the end of the sentences. It helps to understand the meaning of the sentence, where the sentence is ending and what is the sentence trying to say.
There are three most common ending punctuation marks used:
1. Period(.)
2. A question mark(?)
3. An exclamation point(!)
Most of the sentences end with a period. It marks the end of the sentence. For example:
1. The car is red.
2. I have a book.
3. He is reading.
4. This is an apple.
Sentences which are enquiring about something and are asking a question end with a question mark. For example:
1. Is this your book?
2. Do you have a pen?
3. Are you Jack?
4. How old are you?
The question mark answers the following questions:
1. What?
2. Why?
3. Where?
4. Whom?
5. When?
6. How?
Another very commonly used ending punctuation mark is the exclamation point. It is used when the sentence is trying to express a feeling.
For example:
1. Wow, that car goes really fast!
2. I am going to a big party tonight!
3. I love my new shoes!
4. That is my favorite color!
See how these sentences portrayed some feelings of excitement and joy.
These early punctuation lessons are very important and the kid must have a strong grip on these in order to be good at the upcoming grammar.

It's Kids Academy, and welcome back to our channel! In this video for kids you will see Rapunzel animated bedtime story. Rapunzel is one of the famous fairy tales by the Grimm Brothers. Rapunzel fairy tale was written and published in 1812 and is just two pages long, but it is one of the most loved and favored bed times stories ever. Kids can’t stop listening to the story about a beautiful girl.
Rapunzel who is locked in a high tower in the woods. A Witch comes to the tower and asks Rapunzel to let her beautiful long fair hair down, so the Witch can climb up and get to her.
Rapunzel is a very nice girl but she is very lonely in the tower, so she sings songs not to feel bored. Once a Prince hears Rapunzel singing songs with her sweet voice and sees how the Witch asks the girl to let her golden braids down. He decides to try his luck and asks Rapunzel to let her hair down for him. As soon as the Prince sees the girl he falls in love with her and makes plans to save her. His plan doesn’t work out however, as the Witch finds about it and she sends Rapunzel far into the woods and plans to kill the Prince. The Prince manages to escape but his eyes get wounded and he becomes blind.
Luckily, wandering through the woods the Prince hears the sweet voice and recognizes it. The Prince and Rapunzel meet each other and Rapunzel starts crying. Her tears touch Prince’s eyes and he can see again.

Learning the names of colors and correctly identifying colors is one of the first academic skills that young preschoolers and kindergarten students learn. When children learn to name colors, they effectively describe objects in their environment. But knowing colors is more than that. When children learn colors, they can compare and contrast things in the child’s environment as well as use color to sort and classify objects.
The orange video from Kid’s Academy is perfect for teaching the color orange. The video is the appropriate length for young learners and simply explains the concept of the color orange. The clip shows our favorite elephant character grabbing his orange cap and a wagon and venturing outside. While outside, the elephant picks a variety of orange fruits and vegetables. Each time the elephant picks an orange fruit or vegetable the viewer hears the word “orange” stated clearly and the color word “orange” is displayed with large letters on the screen.
After viewing the video, extension activities can be completed. Ask your student or child to name other foods that are orange. Look for things that are orange in the classroom or home is a fun activity too. Painting with orange paint of drawing with orange crayons or markers is a fun art enrichment activity. Older students learning to write and spell color words learn how to write the word orange.
Identifying colors for kids is challenging. Children often identify the primary colors red, yellow and blue easily but identifying the orange color is more challenging. Learn to Play Chess | Types of Draws | Kids Academy
There are 5 most common ways to tie the chess game.
1. Insufficient checkmating material
This type of draw happens when none of the two players can make a checkmate. Which means that none of the players have enough moves or pieces to get a checkmate.
2. Threefold repetition
It happens if a chess position is repeated three times in a single game by both players. It means that a piece makes the same move back and forth three times. When both the players make these repetitive moves, the game is draw.
3. Stalemate
It happens when one player has a safe king, but it has no moves left because it is surrounded by the opponent. However, it is surrounded in a way that the opponent cannot attack its king.
4. Draw by agreement
This happens when one player offers the other player to draw the game. It happens when a game is already reaching the draw condition. The opponent can either make their next move or they can accept the draw offer.
5. 50 moves rule
This happens when both players play 50 moves without moving a pawn or capturing a piece, any player can claim a draw. This kind of draw is least likely to happen
