Indefinite and definite integral problems begin the same way but differ in how you interpret their results.
The result of an indefinite integral is a family of functions whereas a definite integral determines the area underneath the function you are integrating over the closed interval [a,b].

The 68 - 95 -99.7 Rule (Empirical Rule) lets us know approximately what percent of the normal distribution exists between the first, second, and third stand deviation of the mean, respectively.
Combining this information with the fact that the normal distribution is symmetric about the mean, we can calculate the percent of the distribution that falls between each standard deviation. This video reminds you how to come up with these percentages on the fly if all you can remember is the 68 - 95 -99.7 Rule (Empirical Rule).

For an indefinite integral, the constant of integration is usually represented with +C. It represents the constant that can not be determined while completing an indefinite integral without extra information.
If we have a solution to the function we get when we take the integral, we can find the appropriate value of C for the given problem.

Civil Rights Act of 1964 | Montgomery Bus Boycott | Rosa Parks and Martin Luther King
American civil rights movement took place mainly during the 1950s and 1960s. It emerged as a response to the existing discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex, and national origin.
One example of racial discrimination would be the segregation of public facilities such as schools, restaurants, buses, and restrooms.
The purpose of the civil rights movement was to enforce constitutional and legal rights for all, especially for black people residing in the United States.
Civil rights activists tried to promote equality and social justice through nonviolent protests. In 1955, Rosa Parks refused to give up her bus seat to a white passenger. Her arrest provoked the Montgomery Bus Boycott, which united supporters across the country and led to the desegregation of public buses.
Martin Luther King, Jr. was one of the organizers of the boycott. Promoting equality and human rights through peaceful protests and public speeches, he became one of the most prominent leaders of the civil rights movement.
The joint efforts of civil rights activists across the country influenced American lawmakers. The Civil Rights Act of 1964 ended segregation laws in America.

Kids Academy provides a fun Halloween song for kids in this video compilation of familiar tunes.
1st grade math word problems are challenging to many learners. Children have to process and understand not only math operations but also language that is unfamiliar. This video collection provides students with their own personal teacher that explains how to work several types of word problems.
The format of each video is simple. Math word problem worksheets are shown and the teachers carefully explain how to solve the math word problems.
Using a whiteboard, the teachers use several different strategies to work through the 1st grade math problems worksheets. The teachers carefully explain to the students that first, students read the problem. Then, read the problem again and underline keywords. Keywords that help students understand what operation the problem requires include: altogether, are left, in all, and in total. The teachers remind the students that sometimes there is information in the word problem that is not needed to solve the problem. Distinguishing between the required information needed to work the problem and the information that is not relevant is difficult and must be practiced.
Drawing pictures, counting on, or using number lines are used to solve the problems.
These videos include word problems that require more than one step to solve. Again, the teacher explains each step clearly to the viewers.
Math addition word problems in 1st grade include tasks involving the addition of money and telling time. The videos include worksheets with problems adding hours and half hour, and word problems requiring the counting and adding of money. These problems show real-life math applications.
Don’t let word problems frustrate your 1st grader. Give your child extra help and support with these instructional videos. When children watch the videos and work the problems with the teacher, success is sure to follow.

✨ Rapunzel is one of the most well-known fairy tales for kids by the Grimm Brothers which was written more than 200 years ago but it is still truly enjoyed by kids. This fairy tale is about a nice girl with beautiful long hair. She is kept in a high tower by the wicked Witch.
The second story is Puss in Boots, one of the fairy tales from the collection by Charles Perrault. The story appeared in the middle of the 17th century and is about a smart cat who manages to gain power, wealth, prosperity and princess’s love for his poorly and low-class born master.
✨ The Princess and the Pea, written by Hans Christian Andersen and published in 1835, tells a story about a young princess whose real identity is discovered with the help of a pea. She is given shelter in a Prince’s house and offered to sleep in a bed with twenty matrasses and twenty feather beds. In the morning she complains that she couldn’t sleep all night as she felt something really hard in the bed. The prince is convinced that only a truly royal person can feel that and eagerly marries the princess.
✨ Little Red Riding Hood is a fairy tale with a catchy plot so loved by kids. It is a story about a little girl, her grandmother and the wicked wolf who swallows both of them. The Little Red Riding Hood and her grandmother are luckily saved by a huntsman.
