Song Lyrics:
Seven days are in one week. That's right!
Each day is something new.
Now, think about the many things
that you may want to do.

Sunday is the first day.
Have fun with the family.
A drive, the zoo, a picnic—
or maybe do all three!

Monday is the second day.
The week is on its way.
What a good idea it is
to go outside and play!

Sunday! Monday!
Tuesday! Wednesday! Thursday!
Friday! Saturday!
Then start again on Sunday.
A week is seven days!

Tuesday is the third day—
a great day for the park.
Swinging, sliding, climbing things
until the sky gets dark!
Wednesday is the fourth day.
And something that's fun to know—
it's in the middle of the week
with three more days to go!

Sunday! Monday!
Tuesday! Wednesday! Thursday!
Friday! Saturday!
Then start again on Sunday.
A week is seven days!

Thursday is the fifth day—
a play date with a friend.
You have so much fun that you
never want this day to end!

Friday is the sixth day.
Outside, you hear some rain.
Do a puzzle! Draw a picture!
Read a story or play a game!

Sunday! Monday!
Tuesday! Wednesday! Thursday!
Friday! Saturday!
Then start again on Sunday.
A week is seven days!

Saturday's the seventh day.
And now the week is done.
Seven days go by so fast
when you are having fun!

Sunday! Monday!
Tuesday! Wednesday! Thursday!
Friday! Saturday!
Then start again on Sunday.
A week is seven days!
Sunday! Monday!
Tuesday! Wednesday! Thursday!
Friday! Saturday!
Then start again on Sunday.
A week is seven days!

I said a week is seven days. Yeah!

"The Letter X Song" (See below for lyrics)

"The Letter X Song" explodes with the exciting rhythms of hip-hop music, which originated in the 1970s in New York City. Next time you and your child listen to "The Letter X Song", note how the background singers' X beatbox sound flows perfectly with the rap style of the lead singer. Since beatbox and rap are forms of making sounds and poetry, encourage your child to come up with their own beatbox sounds and raps!

About Us:
ABCmouse.com is an award-winning website that uses a variety of activities, including these songs, to help children build a strong foundation for future academic success. ABCmouse.com Early Learning Academy provides a full online curriculum in preschool, pre-k, and kindergarten, with more than 5,000 interactive learning activities that teach the subjects of reading, math, science, social studies, art, and music.

Song Lyrics:
Mmm—wanna sing about the letter x?

Extra! Extra! Let's talk about it!
Letter x! Letter x! I want to shout about it!
An exceptional letter, extraordinary too—
letter x is the one that follows w!

X! X! "X"! "X"!
X! X! "X"! "X"!

Now, x sounds like "ks" inside of a word!
So every time you see an x, this is how it's heard—
excite, exceed, extreme, extent,
explore, explode—that's excellent!

"X"! "X"!
X! X! "X"! "X"!

Now, when you see an x at the end of a word,
the sound of "ks" will still be heard,
as in six, fix, ax, and mix,
flex, fox, wax, and ox.

Now, x is a crossing, and x marks the spot!
If you want to know some more, this is what I've got:
When x starts a word it's got the sound of a z.
Will I give you an example? Most definitely!
Xylophone, the instrument!
Well, that's one that you've probably heard.
Well, I think it's kind of funny that x can start a word!

X! Can I get an x? X! What a great letter.
X is my buddy. X is my friend.
X is the one I can see at the end.
X! That's letter x, y'all. That's letter x. X!
X! X! Let me tell you about x! "X"! "X"!
One more time, one more time, say x!

This multiplication song for 7 gives the multiplication facts for the 7 times table. This Multiply by 7 song has cool original music that is very contemporary and age appropriate for 2nd through 5th graders. Also, this song goes through each table 1 through 12 three times to give your children a chance for lots of practice. This Multiply by 7 song also has a gradual learning structure.

First time: I sing the multiplication table I give the answer.

Second time: I say the table I delay the answer, so children have a chance to answer before me.

Third time: I completely omit the answer so children can answer on their own.

We take pride in saying that this is one of the best multiplication facts songs around.
This song on learning how to Multiply by 7 is a wonderful way for your children to learn and practice the multiplication tables.
Multiply by 7's with a cool island beat. Sing along to the 7's times tables by singing along with the multiplication fact the first time through. The second time through we delay the answer so students can give the answer and then the answer is reinforced. The third time we supply the 7's times table and leave the answer blank for higher order learning.
Multiply by 7's with our cool bass player Will and this island tune to help student's learn their 7's multiplication table.

Lyrics:
7, this must be my lucky day.
7 up, 7 down
7 is the luckiest number around
Use your brain, left and right
And 7 you'll learn to multiply
