Visit http://www.3minutemaths.co.uk for quick reminder High School GCSE mathematics videos.
This video is all about solving algebra fractions with a quadratic and forms part of the playlist with the same name. I've also added to the playlist on GCSE higher revision.
The question is fairly difficult and you need to be confident with factorising and manipulating fractions:
3/x+3 + 2/x+2 = -10/x+7
or
three over x plus three plus two over x plus two equals minus ten over x plus seven
I hope the video helps and please do leave a comment - thanks!

This week we visit Lenka Clayton, another Pittsburgh based artist whose work finds meaning in ordinary, everyday objects. For her assignment, she asks you to partner with someone and recreate a lost childhood object, using their memory of the object and the materials you have around you.
INSTRUCTIONS - Lost Childhood Object
1. Ask someone to describe an object they made or cherished as a child. Make a mental image of that object
2. Create the object
3. Give the object back to the person (Ideally, you'd do this project in tandem)
4. Document and upload using #theartassignment
5. Fame and glory (your work might be in a future episode)
Sarah then connects this assignment to contemporary artist Roman Ondak.

In this lesson, you will learn how to use the order of operations in algebra when the problem has a large fraction. In this case, we consider the numerator and the denominator has an invisible parenthesis around it. This means that we fully simplify the numerator and denominator separately, and after this is done we divide the numerator by the denominator. In this lesson, we solve numerous example problems to gain practice with using the order of operations.

Performance artist Ryan McNamara joins The Art Assignment to challenge you to play a game of Movement Telephone.
Sarah then compares this assignment to the evolution of the meme, which is a sophisticated and rapid form of imitation.

2. Film yourself replicating that movement.
3. Watch your video and then film yourself replicating your movement in that video.
4. Repeat step 3.
5. Upload your 3 clips (edited together, ideally) and a link to your inspiration video with #theartassignment.
6. Fame and glory (your work may be in a future video).

Educational video for children to learn about the eleventh of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), sustainable cities and communities. Sustainability is about meeting the needs of people today while growing the economy without compromising the needs of future generations and endangering the environment. Sustainable cities are those that offer a good quality of life to their residents without putting their resources at risk. Sustainable cities guarantee the rights of their residents, such as housing, access to green spaces, quality public transportation, and protection of cultural heritage, among other things. Countries should ensure that all people have access to adequate and safe housing with basic services, in places with adequate transportation systems while paying special attention to the needs of the most vulnerable people.
This video is a very useful and interesting resource for children. It is perfect for teaching what the Sustainable Development Goals are. It is an excellent video for primary education.
