Are you a left-brained person or a right-brained person? Spoiler: You're neither. Each of us uses both sides of our brain for most of what we do. But still, there are a number of brain functions that do show lateralization, where they are localized to one side or another. Why is this? And how does it influence our definition of consciousness? People with "split brains" can help us figure it out.

Special thanks to Dr. Michael Gazzaniga for his help researching this video!

Educational video for children to learn how to divide fractions with our astronaut friend. A fraction is a number that indicates the division of a whole number in equal parts. The little ones will learn that to divide fractions, they should just multiply the numerator of the first fraction with the denominator of the second fraction and the denominator of the first fractions with the numerator of the second fraction. This educational video features several exercises with fun examples, to help children learn math while having fun. Excellent resource for elementary school.

Today Hank explains the skeletal system and why astronauts Scott Kelly and Mikhail Kornienko are out in space studying it. He talks about the anatomy of the skeletal system, including the flat, short, and irregular bones, and their individual arrangements of compact and spongy bone. He'll also cover the microanatomy of bones, particularly the osteons and their inner lamella. And finally, he will introduce the process of bone remodeling, which is carried out by crews of osteocytes, osteoblasts, and osteoclasts.

This video tutorial provides an introduction into karnaugh maps and combinational logic circuits. It explains how to take the data from a truth table and transfer it to a K-map. It explains how to use the karnaugh map to write a function using switching algebra. It also explains how to draw a combinational circuit using logic gates such as AND / OR gates given the function. Examples include k-maps with 4 variables and with 3 variables in the horizontal orientation as well as the vertical orientation. It also explains how to draw the Karnaugh map directly from a function with boolean algebra.
