Lyrics:
I am addition
and this is my mission
You’re here to add some knowledge you need to succeed and thrive

It’s addition
And this is how it’s spelled
This is the process of adding something to something else

I am an addition symbol
which you’ll use to add

I’m kind of shaped like a cross
And that’s pretty rad

You can add anything
to another thing with me

Just take two objects
and put me in the middle and see

Before we get started
There’s someone you have to meet

It is my friend the equal symbol
He’s a math athlete

I am the Equal symbol
You’ll find me to the right

of any math equation
I bring the final amount insight

I work with any math symbol
to get the answer you need

Let us show you
How we help each other to succeed

I am addition
and this is my mission
You’re here to add some knowledge you need to succeed and thrive

It’s addition
And this is how it’s spelled
This is the process of adding something to something else

We’ll start adding something simple
To see what we can equal

This is 0ne panther but if you want two
I’ll add one more as well

Then I take the Panthers
which now Equals 2

That’s the number I produce
Now that this equation is through

Here are two baby’s
and when I add two more

I equal the total number of babies
which is four

I am addition
and this is my mission
You’re here to add some knowledge you need to succeed and thrive

It’s addition
And this is how it’s spelled
This is the process of adding something to something else

And if you have 5 ice creams
And you Add 5 more

It will equal 10 Ice creams
that’s twice as many as before

Here I have 3 Elephants
and then one more is added

I equal them together
which is 4 I assure

You can add anything you want
to anything else

When you have an addition and equal symbol to help

When you have the number 5
They also want to add a 2

The final number equals 7
this equation is through

And if you had a 3
and wanted to add 3 more

You would end up equalling
the number 6 out the door

I am addition
and this is my mission
You’re here to add some knowledge you need to succeed and thrive

It’s addition
And this is how it’s spelled
This is the process of adding something to something else

I’m addition
and this is my mission
You’re here to add some knowledge you need to succeed and thrive

It’s addition
And this is how it’s spelled
This is the process of adding something to something else

Sound Basics for Kids - What is Sound? | Science for Kindergarten | Kids Academy

Today our task is to explain the science which affects your daily life – the sound. The question which pops up in most of the children’s mind is; where does this sound come from? Since sounds are all around us, therefore, every kid tries to figure out where is it coming from? Well, kids buckle up because there are lots of things you’ll learn about sound today.
Sound mainly comes from different sources. And what are sources? Well, the source is anything where the sound comes from.

And the sound is the type of energy, therefore, anything which makes any sound also uses energy. For example, when you turn on the refrigerator, it starts to produce a humming sound. This means the fridge is using energy to produce the sound. Amazing, right? A fun fact which majority of the kids don’t know is that; light travels faster than sound. For example, during a thunderstorm, you will observe light prior to hearing the rumbling sound. To learn more about sound stay connected.

Get the most for your kids with the new animated version of the Baa Baa Black Sheep song by Kids Academy!

The traditional nursery rhyme Baa Baa Black Sheep dates back to the middle of the 18th century and was sung by our great-great-great grandparents and it hasn’t t significantly changed since then. Your little ones are sure to enjoy listening to fascinating stories about the lives of our ancestors or you can ask the kids to tell you how they imagine a life two and a half centuries ago.

The video is a karaoke version and has Baa Baa Blaa Sheep lyrics embedded in it. As the rhyme has a very catchy tune and the words to Baa Baa Black Sheep song are easy to remember, young learners, adore listening to it and start singing to the video in no time. Add clapping and tapping to get more joy and excitement.

Nursery rhymes are perfect for teaching rhythm and rhyming and Baa Baa Black Sheep song is not an exception. Furthermore, it is perfect for pronunciation practice as kids pronounce the word ‘sheep’ hundreds of times. Also, use it to revise the sounds various animals produce.

Watching the video can turn not only into a nice reading activity where kids learn to recognize and read the lyrics to Baa Baa Black Sheep, but can also be a nice opportunity to practice counting to three: ask your kids to show three fingers and then fold them as the song goes by. This will definitely benefit kids’ motor skills developing.

Don’t miss a chance to entertain and educate kids with the professionally created video on the Baa Baa Black Sheep rhyme!

*****

Lyrics:

Baa, baa, black sheep,
Have you any wool?
Yes sir, yes sir,
Three bags full.
One for the master,
One for the dame,
One for the little boy
Who lives down the lane.

Baa, baa, white sheep,
Have you any wool?
Yes sir, yes sir,
Three bags full.
One for the master,
One for the dame,
And one for the little boy
Who lives down the lane.

Baa, baa, brown sheep,
Have you any wool?
Yes sir, yes sir,
Three bags full.
One for the master,
One for the dame,
And one for the little boy
Who lives down the lane.

Learn to Play Chess - Skewer | Kids Academy

If you are learning how to play chess you must know about skewer. A skewer is like a pin in reverse. When you pin a piece, you attack a piece and a more valuable piece is revealed behind the piece that you attacked.

It can be turned around which means that you can attack more valuable piece, this piece runs away revealing a less powerful piece behind it which means that we can capture it. This would be called a skewer.

Pieces that are moving in a straight line and are long range pieces can do skewers which means only queens, rooks and bishops are the only three pieces that can make a skewer move.

So, whenever you see these pieces in the sesame diagonal you can go for a skewer move. It can instantly get you more points and can actually become the winning move for you.
Keep an eye on all the pieces and you can make the most intelligent skewer move in chess.

The Anthropic Education Report: How University Students Use Claude is a comprehensive analysis of how university students integrate AI—specifically Anthropic's Claude model—into their academic work. The study is based on over one million anonymized student conversations from Claude.ai, narrowed down to 574,740 academic-relevant interactions, and provides some of the first large-scale real-world insights into educational AI use.

🧪 Study Purpose and Methodology
Objective
The report aims to move beyond surveys and lab studies by analyzing real-world student-AI interactions to understand how AI is shaping learning, cognitive engagement, and academic behavior.

Method
Used Clio, Anthropic's automated analysis tool, to analyze anonymized data.
Focused on conversations tied to higher education email domains (.edu, .ac.uk, etc.).
Filtered to retain only academic-relevant exchanges.

🔍 Main Findings
1. STEM Dominance and Disparities Across Disciplines
Computer Science students were the most prolific users of Claude, representing 38.6% of conversations while making up only 5.4% of U.S. degrees.
Other overrepresented fields: Natural Sciences and Math.
Underrepresented disciplines: Business, Health, and Humanities—each used Claude less than expected based on enrollment numbers.

2. Four Distinct AI Interaction Patterns
These were used almost equally by students:

Direct Problem Solving (e.g., getting quick solutions to homework).
Direct Output Creation (e.g., generating summaries or essays).
Collaborative Problem Solving (dialogue with AI to work through concepts).
Collaborative Output Creation (joint creation of larger work like lesson plans).

3. Predominant Use Cases
Creating and improving educational content: 39.3%
Technical explanations and solutions: 33.5%
Data analysis and visualization: 11%
Research and tool design: 6.5%
Technical diagrams: 3.2%
Translation/proofreading: 2.4%

Article content
🧠 Cognitive Delegation to AI: Bloom’s Taxonomy
Students primarily delegated higher-order cognitive tasks:

Creating (39.8%) – e.g., designing lesson plans or generating coding projects.
Analyzing (30.2%) – e.g., breaking down legal principles or debugging.
Far fewer tasks involved Applying, Understanding, or Remembering.

This raises concerns that students may be outsourcing the very tasks essential to critical thinking and deep learning.
🎓 Educational Integrity & Cheating Concerns
47% of conversations were "Direct", potentially associated with cheating (e.g., requesting direct answers to test questions).
Even “Collaborative” conversations may involve heavy AI reliance.
The ambiguity of intent (e.g., practicing vs. cheating) makes interpretation challenging.

📊 Subject-Specific Patterns
Natural Sciences & Math: focused on step-by-step problem solving.
Computer Science & Engineering: favored collaborative interaction.
Education: highest use for output creation, likely due to teachers creating instructional materials.
Business, Health, Humanities: more evenly split between direct and collaborative modes.

⚠️ Limitations of the Study
Skews toward early adopters and Claude users specifically (not representative of all AI tools).
Filtering imperfections may misclassify some users (e.g., faculty as students).
Analysis is time-bounded to an 18-day window, limiting longitudinal insights.
Only examines AI interactions, not downstream use or learning impact.

🧭 Implications & Next Steps
Highlights discipline-specific AI usage trends that could inform tailored educational policies.
Suggests need for new assessment methods that reflect AI’s role in the learning process.
Anthropic is piloting features like a “Learning Mode” that prioritizes Socratic teaching styles and conceptual understanding.

So, if economics is about choices and how we use our resources, econ probably has a lot to say about the environment, right? Right! In simple terms, pollution is just a market failure. The market is producing more pollution than society wants. This week, Adriene and Jacob focus on the environment, and how economics can be used to control and reduce pollution and emissions. You'll learn about supply and demand, incentives, and how government intervention influences the environment.

This chemistry video tutorial discusses the relationship between cell potential and gibbs free energy. It contains plenty of examples and chemistry practice problems. It discusses the signs of the potential energy and delta G in determining if a reaction is spontaneous or nonspontaneous. The system is in equilibrium whenever delta G and E is equal to zero. This video discusses Faraday's constant which relates the electric charge to moles of electrons per mole of substance. 1 volt is 1 Joule per coulomb. voltage is a measure of electrical potential energy per unit charge. delta G represents the maximum amount of electrical work that can be performed by a reaction. This tutorial contains problems where you have to find the value of n in order to use it in the equation delta G = -nFE. To find it, you need to balance the half reactions and make sure the moles of electrons are the same using the least common multiple rule. In addition, you need to calculate the cell potential of the net reaction using the standard reduction potential of the half reactions. This lesson is basically a section in electrochemistry.
