Phonics Blends For Kids | BL, CL, Gl, SL, FL | Consonant Blends | Kids Academy
Right now, you are reading this content most probably because you are working on the reading and writing skills for kids and you want to teach your little one about the blends and what they actually are.
For those who donโt know, a blend is when two consonants are blended together but when spoken, both the consonants can be heard separately. Some of the most common blends are BL, CL, GI, SL, and FL.
Now, honestly, if you want to teach your child about the blends then the wiser thing to do is to refer to the internet. All you need to do is to head to Youtube and search for, โblends for kindergartenโ and there you will see several different videos that will come in handy to you.
On the other hand, if you are a teacher and if you have to teach your students about blends and how they work then you need to start by making groups of the blends first because you canโt just teach the students all the blends all at the same time. You need to start with the 1st group of blends, l-blends first (bl, cl, fl, gl, pl and SL) and then you need to follow it to the r-blends.
A lot of people out there confuse diagrams and blends and most of the people donโt even bother teaching the students about blends which arenโt correct. So, if you have a class to teach or if you are opting for homeschooling for your little one then you need to start with the blends so that reading and writing get easier for that little person.

The Checks and Balances that are in place in the United States are important for kids to understand and in this video we explain how the three branches of government can work together but are also in place to check on each other and make sure that not one branch has too much power.
Separation of power has been important since the United States were formed and In short the constitution states that there are to be three branches of government, and the balance of power between the branches will be equal. The 3 branches include the Legislative, Executive, and Judicial branches. The Legislative branch is made up of the House of Representatives and the Senate make up the Legislative branch. The Executive branch includes the President, Vice-President, and the Cabinet, which is made up of people who give advice to the President such as Secretary of State, Defense, Homeland Security and many others. Finally, the Judicial branch consists of nine judges called justices, and they oversee the United States court system (The Supreme Court).
Each of these branches can keep the other branches in check and to pass any major law or bill these branches must learn to work together. In this video your kids / students will learn how the three branches work independently and together.

Land reform, where estates had been taken from rich landowners and redistributed to the peasants had taken place shortly after the communists had come to power.
Collectivisation, where peasants lost their own pieces of land and instead worked for wages on land owned by the state had also begun to take place.
Mao believed this was not enough to expand both agricultural and industrial production and instead introduced the second five-year plan in 1958.
This would become known as the โGreat Leap Forwardโ.

Multiply by 4 and learn the 4 times table with a tropical beat. Sing along to the 4's times tables by singing along with the multiplication fact the first time through. The second time through we delay the answer so students can give the answer and then the answer is reinforced. The third time we supply the 4's times table and leave the answer blank for higher order learning.
Multiply by 4's with this catchy tropical tune to help student's learn their 4 multiplication table in order.
This song goes through each table 1 through 12 three times to give your children a chance for lots of practice.
This song also has a gradual learning structure.
First time: I sing the multiplication table I give the answer.
Second time: I say the table I delay the answer, so children have a chance to answer before me.
Third time: I completely omit the answer so children can answer on their own.
This song on learning how to Multiply by 4 is a wonderful way for your children to learn and practice the multiplication tables.
LYRICS:
Multiply by 4's
Four quarters in a football game
Four sides to a square are the same
Four wheels to a race car turn
And the 4 times table I can learn
Let's multiply by 4
4 x 1 is 4
4 x 2 is 8
4 x 3 is 12
4 x 4 is 16
4 x 5 is 20
4 x 6 is 24
4 x 7 is 28
4 x 8 is 32
4 x 9 is 36
4 x 10 is 40
4 x 11 is 44
4 x 12 is 48
Four quarters in a football game
Four sides to a square are the same
Four wheels to a race car turn
And the 4 times table I can learn
Now say the answer before me
4 x 1 is 4
4 x 2 is 8
4 x 3 is 12
4 x 4 is 16
4 x 5 is 20
4 x 6 is 24
4 x 7 is 28
4 x 8 is 32
4 x 9 is 36
4 x 10 is 40
4 x 11 is 44
4 x 12 is 48
Now, all on your own
4 x 1 is 4
4 x 2 is 8
4 x 3 is 12
4 x 4 is 16
4 x 5 is 20
4 x 6 is 24
4 x 7 is 28
4 x 8 is 32
4 x 9 is 36
4 x 10 is 40
4 x 11 is 44
4 x 12 is 48
Four quarters in a football game
Four sides to a square are the same
Four wheels to a race car turn
And the 4 times table I can learn

In your middle school science class or in Earth science you will hear about the lithosphere.
The Lithosphere is the top rigid, rocky portion of our earth
There are two types, the continental lithosphere, and the oceanic lithosphere.
The lithosphere is also divided into large tectonic plates.
These plates were one large continent called Pangea that broke apart.

This stoichiometry video tutorial explains how to perform mole to mole conversions from a balanced chemical equation. It contains plenty of examples of mole ratio practice problems. It discusses how to calculate the number of moles reactant that are required to react with the limiting reagent and how many moles of product are expected to be produced using the molar ratio method. This chemistry video also contains examples of balancing chemical equations which are needed before solving any mole to mole stoichiometry problems.
