Truth is often stranger than fiction, and sometimes a real life tale is so outlandish, that people are often left to wonder “why hasn’t this been made into a movie.” This is one of those stories.

One of the most iconic visual elements of the Second World War are German panzers blitzing their way across enemy territory, leaving a trail of death and destruction in their wake.
During the First World War, German tanks had a less than auspicious start. Their first attempt at a tank design was the A7V, a clunky metal box on tracks, a far cry from the formidable vehicles of a quarter century later.

Thanks to the technological advances of the modern age, in 2023 life is pretty safe. In the past however, many of the things we take for granted now were likely a death sentence for our ancestors.

Today around 250,000 veterans are still disabled by a mysterious disease known as Gulf War Syndrome, a medical anomaly with a distinctive set of symptoms that strangely only affects soldiers who served in the 1991 Persian Gulf War.
For decades the causes of this peculiar chronic illness baffled and divided scientists, as they debated whether the malady had a psychological or biological explanation, and it is only recently, over 30 years after the end of the conflict, that some of them have claimed to have found a definitive answer.

In the American Civil war there were units on both sides which had uniforms heavily influenced by their individual heritage, fashion crazes or special requirements.
The Confederates had one unit that embraced their heritage to the extreme and that was company A of the 31st Virginia Militia.

This trigonometry video tutorial provides a basic introduction into radians and degrees. It explains the definition of the radian and how to calculate the angle measure in radians given the arc length of a circle and the length of the radius. This video also explains the process of converting degrees to radians and converting radians to degrees. To convert from degrees to radians, multiply the angle measure in degrees by pi divided by 180. To convert from radians to degrees, multiply the radian measure by 180 over pi. To calculate the angle measure in radians - divide the arc length by the length of the radius of the circle. This video also explains how to draw angles in standard position using radians instead of degrees. It explains the location of common angles such as pi/4, 3pi/4, 5pi/4, and 7pi/4 and more. This video contains a lot of examples and practice problems.

This chemistry video tutorial provides a basic introduction into orbitals and quantum numbers. It discusses the difference between atomic energy levels and sublevels found within an atom. Orbitals are locations where it's most probable to find the location of an electron. The principle quantum number n describes the energy level of an orbital in an atom. The angular momentum quantum number l describes the sublevel or shape of an orbital. The magnetic quantum number ml describes the orientation of an orbital. Ms describes the electron spin of an atom. This video explains how to find the four quantum numbers n l ml and ms of an electron given its electron configuration.
