This video tutorial explains how Bipolar Junction Transistors can be used as electronic switches and as inverters. As a switch, a small current flowing into the base can be used to activate a larger current flowing in another circuit. As an inverter, it flips the output state. If the input is low, the output will be high. This video also explains how to use ohm's law and kirchoff's law to solve a simple NPN transistor circuit.

This calculus video tutorial provides a basic introduction into rolle's theorem. It contains plenty of examples and practice problems on how to find the value of c that will satisfy the conclusion of rolle's theorem on the closed interval [a, b]. For rolle's theorem to apply to a function, there are 3 conditions that must be met. (1) The function must be continuous on the closed interval [a, b]. (2) The function must be differentiable on the open interval (a, b). (3) f(a) = f(b). If these conditions are met, then f'(c)=0. There were be some number c in the interval [a, b] where a horizontal tangent line will exist.

It explains how to write out the first four terms of a sequence and how to determine if a sequence converges or diverges by finding the limit of a sequence. If the limit exists and it equals to some constant L as n approaches infinity, then the sequence converges. If the limit does not exist or increases or decreases without bound, that is, to positive or negative infinity - then the sequence diverges. This video contains plenty of examples and practice problems of determining if a sequence is convergent or divergent using Lhopital's rule, the squeeze theorem, and properties of logarithms. It contains example problems with trigonometric functions such as sine and cosine, natural logarithms, square root functions, factorials, and exponential functions.

This calculus video tutorial explains how to find the critical numbers of a function. These include trig functions, absolute value functions, rational functions, fractions, square roots and more. To find the critical number, find the first derivative of the function, set it equal to zero, and solve for x. If you have a fraction as a derivative, set the numerator and denominator of the fraction equal to zero and solve. Critical numbers occur when f'(c) = 0 or when f'(c) does not exist as in the case of a cusp. This calculus video contains plenty of examples and practice problems.
