See how to solve inequalities with fractions on both sides and how to reverse the inequality symbol, when we divide or multiply by a negative number. We start by multiplying every single term by each of the two denominators. Once that's done the inequality is much simpler to solve. We also illustrate our answer on a number line.

A square root is a mathematical operation used to find the number that, when squared, or multiplied by itself, gives us the number we already have. The square root, therefore, is the inverse operation of squaring a number. A square root is made up of the following parts. The first is the index. In the case of this video, it is the number two because it is a square root. We can also find other numbers in the index depending on the type of root. For example, if there were a 3, it would be a cube root. The little box is called the radical, which is what represents the square root operation. Finally, the result is called the square root.

This video is a very useful and interesting resource for children. It is perfect for teaching how to find the square root and what its components are. It is an excellent video for primary education.
