This multiplication song for 9 gives the multiplication facts for the 9 times table. This Multiply by 9 song has cool original music that is very contemporary and age appropriate for 2nd through 5th graders. Also, this song goes through each table 1 through 12 three times to give your children a chance for lots of practice. This Multiply by 9 song also has a gradual learning structure.
First time: I sing the multiplication table I give the answer.
Second time: I say the table I delay the answer, so children have a chance to answer before me.
Third time: I completely omit the answer so children can answer on their own.
We take pride in saying that this is one of the best multiplication facts songs around.
This song on learning how to Multiply by 9 is a wonderful way for your children to learn and practice the multiplication tables.
Lyrics
Now it's time for 9
Just do it memorize
One less than ten
Say yes I can
Multiply by 9
9 x 1 is 9
9 x 2 is 18
9 x 3 is 27
9 x 4 is 36
9 x 5 is 45
9 x 6 is 54
9 x 7 is 63
9 x 8 is 72
9 x 9 is 81
9 x 10 is 90
9 x 11 is 99
9 x 12 is 108
Now say the answer before me
9 x 1 is 9
9 x 2 is 18
9 x 3 is 27
9 x 4 is 36
9 x 5 is 45
9 x 6 is 54
9 x 7 is 63
9 x 8 is 72
9 x 9 is 81
9 x 10 is 90
9 x 11 is 99
9 x 12 is 108
Now it's time for 9
Just do it memorize
One less than ten
Say yes I can
Multiply by 9
Now you give the answer on your own
9 x 1 is 9
9 x 2 is 18
9 x 3 is 27
9 x 4 is 36
9 x 5 is 45
9 x 6 is 54
9 x 7 is 63
9 x 8 is 72
9 x 9 is 81
9 x 10 is 90
9 x 11 is 99
9 x 12 is 108
Now it's time for 9
Just do it memorize
One less than ten
Say yes I can
Multiply by 9
Here's a cool tip to multiply by 9
Take the number you multiply by
Add a zero and subtract that same number
Like 9 x 4
You take the number 4 and add a zero to get 40
Then subtract 4 and you've got the answer
9 x 4 is 36
Try it, it's cool!

Do you know what a time zone is, or which time zone you live in? In this video, you and your kids will learn all about time zones. You'll even learn some interesting facts about several time zones. For instance, did you know that the entire country of China has one time zone? Even if it's dark outside, it may still be 2 o'clock in the afternoon! In addition to that, both Alaska and Hawaii are the only states in their time zones. Including Alaska and Hawaii, there are six total time zones in the USA.
You will also learn how some of these time zones get their names. In America, the time zones are named according to their general location. The Eastern time zone is so named because it's on the east side of the country. The Pacific time zone is next to the Pacific ocean. And Mountain Standard Time is called just that because of the Rocky Mountain range that runs through many of the states in that time zone.
What about jet lag? Or even flying in an air plane when it never seems to get dark? This video also explains why both of these odd things can happen. You may have even experienced it yourself!
We hope you and your student(s) enjoyed learning about time zones! If you want even more information, head over to our website and download one of our many free lesson plans about time zones, full of activities, worksheets, and more!

What do you know about dinosaurs? In Dinosaur Facts for Kids, you will learn cool facts about many of these ancient animals. They lived during the Mesozoic era millions of years ago, which is divided into three smaller periods: Triassic, Jurassic, and Cretaceous. To this day, scientists still debate about the cause of their extinction. Was it because lots of volcanoes erupted at the same time? Or was it because a meteor crashed into Earth and caused a ton of damage?
Regardless, we can learn a lot about dinosaurs by studying their fossils. The first dinosaur bones ever found were found in China. The people originally thought they were the bones of giant dragons! The word dinosaur means “terrible lizard,” which works because most dinosaurs are classified as reptiles. Because of the work of paleontologists, we know that some dinosaurs walked on two legs while other walked on four. We also know that these terrible lizards varied greatly in size. Some were as small as chickens while others were bigger than a school bus!
The types of food that dinosaurs ate varied as well. Dinosaurs were either herbivores, carnivores, or omnivores, just like the animals of today. There are also some dinosaurs that are considered the ancient ancestors of birds!
We hope you and your student(s) enjoyed learning about these four different dinosaurs! If you want to learn even more, head over to our website and download one of our many free lesson plans about dinosaurs, full of activities, worksheets, and more!

In this Tech in 10 tutorial, learn how to use Guided Learning in Google Gemini to turn AI into a step-by-step teaching partner instead of an answer generator. Guided Learning is ideal when you want Gemini to teach like a tutor—asking questions, checking understanding, and adapting instruction as you go.
You’ll see a practical classroom example using CER (Claim, Evidence, Reasoning) writing in middle school science, along with a powerful workflow for uploading standards and having Gemini unpack them into teacher-friendly language, learning targets, and quick formative checks.
This approach helps educators slow down AI, keep thinking at the center, and design instruction that actually supports learning—not shortcuts.
Perfect for lesson planning, standards analysis, and instructional coaching.
Learn how to create a charming interactive children's storybook using Google Gemini and custom Gemini Gems. This step-by-step tutorial walks you through the process using the ai story generator gems feature. Have you been waiting for a better way to use your NotebookLM Notebooks in Gemini?
Google just launched a Notebooks feature inside Gemini that creates a live, bi-directional sync with your NotebookLM studio. But there’s a catch: depending on your account tier, you might not even see the button yet.
I'll break down how to find this new workflow, how the sync actually behaves, and why this finally gives Gemini the Project folders we've been waiting for.
The Gemini-Notebook Sync Blueprint:
- Locate the Tab: Expand the left-hand sidebar at Gemini.google.com to find the new "Notebooks" option (Tier-dependent).
- Source Parity: Add a file in Gemini and watch it populate in NotebookLM within 30 seconds.
- Memory Management: Use the "Notebook Settings" to toggle chat memory on or off, preventing old conversations from polluting new research.
- Custom Instructions: Set a persistent tone (like "Keep it concise" or "Explain like I'm 5") that applies to the entire container.
- Creative Layering: Use Gemini’s native image and video generation tools on top of your grounded NotebookLM sources.
I'll share my thoughts:
- Plus is a tier down from Pro, and I don't have this feature on my Pro account. If you're on a high-level Workspace/Pro account, you might be ironically locked out of this feature while Free or Plus users get to play with it (for now, anyway).
- The Refresh Lag: The sync isn't always instant. If a new source doesn't appear, you’ll need to hit the refresh on the page to force the connection between the two platforms.
