Hello friends! Welcome to a new Happy Learning video.
Look at these images, do you know what we are looking at?
Exactly! They are angles! And today, we are going to learn many things about them.
An angle is the space between two intersecting lines or surfaces that emerge from the same point called vertex.
If you look around, we are surrounded by angles, like the ones a clock’s handles or an ice-cream cone makes.
The unit of measure of the angles is the degree, and the most important angle of all, is this one… it’s called a right angle and it measures 90 degrees. The tiny zero you can see on the right upper part of the number 90 is the symbol that represents all angles.
We say that a right angle is the most important one because it is the one that is used to compare all of the other angles.
The angles that are smaller than a right angle are called acute angles, and they measure less than 90 degrees. like… all of these…
And the angles that are bigger than a right angle are called obtuse angles and measure more than 90 degrees… like all of these…
To know the degrees that an angle measures, we need to use this instrument… which is called a protractor.
So, to know the degrees that an angle measures, we need to place the straight part of the protractor over one of the sides of the angle, making the vertex and the central point of the protractor meet. After this, we need to look at the protractor line that coincides with the other side of the angle and look at what number it says. These are the degrees that this angle measures. Easy peasy huh?
Let’s practice! We said that a right angle is 90 degrees… Let’s see… We’ll get the protractor and… Indeed! a right angle is 90 degrees, we haven’t fooled you huh?
Now let’s measure this angle, let’s see how much it measures. 45 degrees! it’s an acute angle, because it is smaller than a right angle.
And now, we’re going to check out how much this other angle measures… It measures 120 degrees, of course! it’s an obtuse angle because it measures more than 90 degrees.
Imagine that instead of it being 120 degrees it measures… 180! Do you know what this angle is called? Well it’s called a straight angle.
Hey! and what about if it measures 360 degrees?
Well that’s a complete or full angle, it’s complete as can be. A circumference measures 360 degrees. What a discovery!!!
Measuring angles is easy peasy… and fun! Don’t you think?

Recommended video: Jobs and their classification
https://youtu.be/GuzmULmcU0E
-----
Hello Friends!
Welcome to a new Happy Learning Video!
We already know that jobs are divided into three sectors. Primary or production sector, Secondary or manufacturing sector and the tertiary or service sector. Today, we’re going to get to know a little more about the first one of them. Today, we’re going to work in the primary sector. Primary sector jobs, are those that obtain primary sources directly from nature. Farming, agriculture, forestry, fishing and mining all belong to (the primary sector) (this sector). Let’s get to know a little more about each of these occupations.Farming consists of breeding livestock, animals!. And a livestock farmer, is the person who does this job. There are two types of farming: intensive and extensive farming. In intensive farming, animals live in farms and stables, with a farmer in charge of feeding and looking after them. In extensive farming, animals live in natural, open air terrains and this is where the farmer goes to take care and protect them. There are four types of livestock: cattle farming, like these cows, sheep farming like these sheep, pig farming, like these pigs or poultry farming, like these hens. Agriculture consists of the cultivation of land, to obtain vegetable products! And a crop farmer is the person who has this occupation. The first thing a crop farmer does, is plough the land by moving it around, then seeds are planted and after the necessary time, the fruits are harvested, which means collected, once they have ripened. There are two types of cropping: dry farming and irrigation farming. Dry farming grows only with rainwater, like wheat or almonds. Irrigation farming is watered artificially because crops need more water than dry farming, like tomatoes or rice. Forestry consists of the cultivation, care, and exploitation of woodland and hills. Thanks to forestry, products such as wood or firewood are collected. But it also helps to investigate on how to protect nature, something completely fundamental for all living things and in order for the whole planet to have a good environmental quality.Fishing consists of the catching of fish and other aquatic animals in rivers, lakes and at sea. Fishing that takes place in rivers is called river fishing and if it’s at sea, we call it sea fishing. Sea fishing has two types: deep sea fishing and shallow sea fishing.Deep sea fishing is done by (great) big boats, far away from the coast, with refrigerated chambers, since they spend a lot of time at sea, they need to freeze their prey so they don’t go bad. Shallow sea fishing is done by smaller boats and come to the coast. They usually leave every day that the weather enables them (fisherman) to. Within fishing and during the last decades, aquaculture has emerged, which consists of the production of algae of aquatic animals in tanks called fish farms… It’s like agriculture and farming, but under water!Mining consists on the collection of mineral resources from the floor and subfloor and the miners are those who perform this job. There is a great variety of minerals. there are metallic minerals like iron or gold, non-metallic minerals like marble or granite, and energetic or combustible minerals like oil, gas or coal coal. These last ones are the most important ones, but also the ones that contaminate the most. Now we’ve got to know the primary sector. Now’s the time to reflect. Imagine there was overexploitation of fishing… and the seas and rivers are left with no fish, in some places, this is already happening… Imagine for a moment, that we cut down all trees in our country and with them, many animals that depend on them. This is also happening in many countries. It’s fundamental that everyone that works in the primary sector respects nature so its primary sources aren’t depleted and their work is sustainable. But we all also need to take care and defend nature, only this way we will achieve a better world.

Recommended video: The Earth and its layers
https://youtu.be/bXdFBAk6MBM
-----
Hello friends! Welcome to a new Happy Learning video.
Today, we’re going to learn about The earth's atmosphere!
The layer of gas surrounding the Earth is called the atmosphere and is an essential element for life on Earth to exist!
It makes all living things be able to breathe, it protects us from rays originating from both the Sun and space, and it also prevents large changes in temperature during day and night.
The atmosphere isn’t homogenous, instead, it changes its composition according to its height, it becomes less and less dense, with less and less air.
Because of those differences, we divide the atmosphere in 5 layers called the troposphere, stratosphere, mesosphere, thermosphere and exosphere. We’re going to know more about each one of them!
The troposphere is the interior layer, the closest one to the earth’s surface. It reaches 12km in height and within it, is where the phenomenon we call the weather happens, the climate.
The stratosphere reaches an average height of 50km, although in some points it reaches 70!
Inside the stratosphere, we can find the ozone layer, which is essential fot life beacause it filters Ultraviolet Light coming from the sun. If it didn’t exist, these rays would end life on our planet.
The mesosphere is situated between 50 and 80 km over the earth’s surface. It’s the coldest layer in the atmosphere, it can reach less than 90 degrees below 0! It’s so cold!!!
The thermosphere, also called ionosphere, reaches 400 km! Within it, space shuttles travel around the earth and it’s also where the mysterious northen lights. They’re beautiful aren’t they??
The exosphere is the last layer in the atmosphere and is at a height between 400 and 2000
km! After this, no more gases exist, only the emptyness of space.
Now we know all about the atmosphere and its layers, but we can’t say goodbye without talking about pollution.
Human activity releases many gases that contaminate our atmosphere. Smoke from factories, cars, lots of the daily activities we do, are creating changes in the atmosphere’s composition. All this produces climate change, floods, acid rain that terminates woods… A polluted atmosphere puts the planet’s, and all living things’ health in danger. We need to take the necesary measures so we pollute as little as possible and take care of our planet and the atmosphere so we can carry on enjoying all of nature’s wonders.

Educational Videos and songs for Kids. Today we’re going to learn about mammals!
The diversity of mammals is amazing. They can be as huge as these whales,or as tiny as this cute little balancing mouse. They can be noisy like this howler monkey, or quiet like this hedgehog with its sharp, pointy spines.
Even though they’re amazingly diverse, all mammals have a number of common characteristics you should know about, so you can recognize and differentiate them.
All mammals are viviparous, they are born from their mothers’ womb. In their early stages of life, they feed on milk, which they get from their mothers' breasts where the mammary glands are. And that’s why they’re called mammals. And when they’re little, they’re so cute, aren’t they?
Mammals reproduce by internal fertilization when a sperm cell and an egg join inside the female.
As you can see, they have teeth inside their mouths, and lips around them so they can eat and suck milk.
Most mammals’ bodies are covered with hair, and all mammals breathe with their lungs, even if they live in the sea. Look at these dolphins coming to the surface for air.
The body temperature of mammals doesn’t depend on whether it’s cold or hot outside, because they can maintain their own internal temperature.
Almost all mammals are terrestrial, like camels, and jaguars. Some live in the sea and are called Marine mammals, like these dolphins, and these seals,There's even a flying mammal, bats are the only mammal that flies.
Mammals have four limbs, which vary depending on where they live. Land mammals have legs,so they can walk, and run when they need to,and Jump.,and sometimes even climb.
Marine mammals have fins so they can swim very fast...
And flying mammals have wings so they can fly through the sky...
Do you know which is the most wonderful mammal that lives on Earth?Human beings! People are mammals too...
How mammals feed
Depending on what they eat, mammals can be classified into different groups.
Herbivores only eat plants and their teeth are especially designed for grinding. Horses, sheep and llamas are herbivorous mammals. Some very special herbivores are called ruminants. They swallow their food almost without chewing it, and some of it is digested normally, but some of it is stored in their stomach, and when they want to, they regurgitate it into their mouth to digest it again. Cows, giraffes and goats are ruminants.
Carne means skin or meat in Latin, and that’s what carnivores eat: the flesh of other animals. Their teeth are large and sharp for hunting and tearing at their food.
Carnivores that eat insects and other invertebrates are called insectivores, like these anteaters.
Omnivorous mammals feed on both meat and plants. Bears, monkeys and humans are omnivores: we can eat a tasty burger with lettuce and tomato.
So, let's remember,
Mammals are viviparous, and in their early stages of life they feed on milk from their mother’s breasts,They have lips and breathe with their lungs,Their body temperature does not depend on the environment they are in, and depending on their food sources, they may be herbivores, carnivores or omnivores.
Easy, right?
So goodbye for now, everybody! And don’t forget to subscribe to Happy Learning!

Hello Happy Friends, Are you ready to Learn? I’m Sarah
Today, we’re going to go over everything we know about… cells! With a Q&A game!
Let’s start!
Which one of these living things is composed by cells?
Aniamals and plants
Placton or
All living things
Of course! All living things!
Let’s get to know a little more...
Cells are the smallest parts in living things, and we are all composed... by cells. Some, only have a single cell and we call them unicellular, for example, some bacteria. Others have many cells and we call them multicellular, like animals… or plants. By the way.. Did you know that human beings have hundreds of billions of cells?
Wow! Interesting!
Yes, we do have cells, indeed.
Let’s head to the next question. This one is a little bit tougher.
Which is the most important part of a cell?
Membrane
Nucleus
Or cytoplasm
Oh look! The most important part is the nucleus, but there are other parts which are also very important.
Let’s get to know a little more about them.
In these images, you can see a cell and its most important parts. But you need to know that the nucleus is the most important organelle of all and that’s why we make it stand out from the rest. The nucleus is like the brain in a cell and it controls its functions. Within it, there are genes, which transmit the hereditary characteristics from parent to offspring. These crocodile babies look very similar to their parents, because of genes.
The truth is that when they’re small, they’re so cute, but when they grow up… not so much.
Have you been paying attention to the explanation and observed the cell diagram properly? Yes? Well then you’re going to find the next question very easy.
What can we find in the cytoplasm?
The membrane
The cell wall
The organelle
Or bacterias
Of course! The organelle! Let’s look at the diagram again to learn a little more
The cytoplasm, what a werid word! Is a liquid substance which is found between the membrane… and the nucleus, and here, in the cytoplasm, we can find… the organelle. The organelle are different between themselves and each one has a distinct function. Some, for example, some are in charge of digesting food and others of eliminating waste.
That’s so cool! I love learning so many new things. As always, I’ll tell you that the most important thing is not having answered all the questions correctly, but rather having learnt and always wanting to learn more.
Goodbye Happy Friends, See you next time!
I hope you’re always ready to learn!

Educational Videos and songs for Kids. In this video we’re going to learn about the birds.
They are so diverse, and there are so many colors and shapes, it's fun to learn about them. For example, this tiny little hummingbird doesn’t look anything like this huge ostrich. And these penguins don’t look much like this peacock with its large fan-shaped tail. Well, they may not look alike, but they’re all birds, and have many things in common.
Birds are oviparous... which as you know, means that they reproduce by laying eggs. The females lay the eggs in nests, in the rocks... or on the ground... And with the heat of their bodies, they incubate the eggs until the little chicks hatch.
Birds don’t have teeth, they have beaks or bills... And these can be very different, depending on what that species of bird feeds on.
They breathe with their lungs, that are connected to... bags full of air... called air sacs... and these help birds to fly. Also, nature, which is very clever, has made their bones hollow, so they weigh very little, and because of this it’s much easier for them to fly.
The skin of birds is covered with feathers: these protect them from the cold and heat. Birds have four limbs, the back ones are legs... and the front ones are wings. Together, the wings and feathers are essential for them to be able to fly... and in some cases... so they can swim.
Birds are terrestrial and most of them can fly. Can you think of any birds that can’t fly? That’s right!!! Penguins and ostriches are two species of birds that cannot fly.
Birds have four types of feathers: those that cover the whole body; flight feathers in the wings that help them to fly; down feathers, which cover the chest and belly and maintain the body at a constant temperature; and tail feathers that help guide the birds’ body like a rudder on a boat.
Birds can be classified into several groups, according to what they eat: herbivores feed on plants and grasses – their beaks are short and strong, and can crush seeds and grains. When they only eat grains, they are called granivores.
Carnivorous birds hunt and eat other animals, using their strong, curved beaks. Within the group of carnivores there are insectivores, that only eat insects, and piscivores that only feed on fish. These birds have pointed beaks that are long and sharp to help them catch the fish. Remember - birds that eat fish are called piscivorous.
The last group - omnivorous birds - includes pigeons and hens, and they eat almost anything.
So remember: birds are oviparous, which means they reproduce by laying eggs; their mouths are beaks or bills and they breathe with their lungs; their skin is covered with feathers; and depending on the food they eat, they can be herbivorous... carnivorous... or omnivorous.
So, now you know a lot more about birds.

What are you waiting for? Hello friends, and welcome to a new Happy learning video.
Today we are going to learn about the wettest animals on the planet...presenting the fish.
In almost all the places where you can find water, be it either salt water or fresh water, you can also find fish. There are fish of all sorts of sizes, colors and shapes, and yet they all have common characteristics which we should know.
Fish are vertebrates, their skeleton is made up of bones or cartilage. They are also cold blooded, their body temperature is not constant, meaning it depends on the water temperature.
This fish appears to be really cold!
All fish have extremities in the form of fins, as you can see in this image, dorsal fins, caudal fin which is the tail, pectoral fin, pelvic fin and anal fin. Another really important fact that one must remember is that almost all fish are covered in scales.
The gills are the fish´s respiratory organ. The respiration process is very interesting; water enters through the mouth and goes to the gills; the gills then get the oxygen and distributes it to the rest of the body through the blood vessels , then the water is expelled through an opening which can be found in the majority of fish behind their head, which is called the gill flap.
Fish reproduce by laying eggs, therefore they are oviparous, and their fertilization can be either external or internal. Some fish are excellent fathers, like this one who protects his babies inside his mouth. It looks as if he is going to eat them but he is actually protecting them. Look at that! it´s amazing isn't it?
Almost all fish are carnivores, eating other fish smaller than themselves and therefore they each have different ways of defending themselves. The most common action to take when feeling threatened is to escape as fast as possible, as in to swim away rapidly. But there are other ways of defending oneself which are much more original. For example, this Clown fish hides itself among these venomous anemones, others imitate or camouflage themselves with their background, by obtaining the color and shape of the plants and rocks around them...Can you see a fish in this image? Wow, well there was indeed a fish and a very hungry one!
Look, this is the largest fish in the world, the Whale shark. Even though it is called a whale shark you must remember it is a shark and not a whale. Whales are not fish, they are aquatic mammals, like theses friendly dolphins. So never forget, whales and dolphins are not fish but mammals.
Now I have a very important fact you must always remember, its extremely important. As you already know fish as well as many other animals, live in water...water is essential for life, and for this reason we must look after it, we must protect it. There are people who dirty nature by throwing rubbish into the rivers and oceans, without thinking about the terrible consequences they are causing. The plastics and substances which contaminate the water, kill a huge amount of animals. Fish, turtles, dolphins, whales, sharks and many more die every day because of contamination. Water is a source of life. We must take care of it and protect it. So now you know, look after nature so that all living creatures can live happily.
Good bye friends, until the next Happy learning video.
