Learn how to calculate the area of a composite figure. A composite figure is made up of simple Geometric shapes. In order to find the area you decompose the geometric shapes and then add the area of each shape together for the area of the composite figure.
***** In the first example I make a mistake with the area of the triangle. 1/2 of 54 = 27 not 28.
So the answer should be 63 + 27 = 91 m squared
Sorry for the mistake.

Learn all about three main types of rocks.
Igneous rocks are born of fire
Sedimentary rocks can be created from weathering then erosion along with deposition then compaction and cementation. During weathering small bits of rocks are created called clasts.
Metamorphic rocks are created by heat and pressure.

I cover four types of friction. Static, fluid, kinetic, and rolling.
Static friction in which two surfaces are not moving past each other.
Sliding or Kinetic friction where 2 surfaces slide past one another.
Rolling friction between a rolling object and surface it rolls on.
Fluid friction is friction that occurs when objects move across or through a fluid.

Commensalism Examples
Commensalism is a symbiotic relationship in which one organism benefits and the other organism is neither helped nor harmed.
The examples include egret bird and cattle, orchids and trees, barnacles, burdock weeds, and remora

Learn the diference between saturated, unsaturated, and supersaturated solutions.
Science Standard
When you have an unsaturated solution less solute then the solution is capable of dissolving is mixed in.
With a saturated solution there is so much solute present that if you were to add any more it will not dissolve and excess salt will fall to the bottom of the container.
If you mix in 40 grams of salt at 90 degrees into 100 grams of water.
A supersaturated solution contains more than the maximum amount of dissolved solute then the solvent is able to dissolve at a given temperature.
S8P1.a Develop and use a model to compare and contrast pure substances (elements and compounds) and mixtures.

Learn the difference between prime and composite numbers. All whole numbers greater than one can be classified as prime or composite numbers.
Prime numbers have only factors one and itself. A composite number has other factors other than itself and one. So let's look at some examples. Let's look at 4 and 5
Four is divisible by 1 and four is divisible by 2 so four is a composite number
5 is divisible by 1 but it is odd so it is not divisible by 2 or any other number so 5 is prime.

A simple phosphorus cycle explanation
Phosphorus is not found in the atmosphere. It is important for the production of ATP, DNA, and membrane.
Phosphorus follows a biogeochemical cycle that ensures the earth always has phosphorus and phosphate.
Substances like phosphorus, carbon, and nitrogen move from living organisms to abiotic factors This cycling from living organism to abiotic factor is a biogeochemical cycle.

After passing through the small intestine food travels into the large intestine.
Your large intestine is roughly 9 feet in length but gets it’s name because it has a larger diameter than the small intestine.
Your large intestine is also called the colon.
The large intestine is divided into several sections.
