Understand and apply theorems about circles.

Identify and describe relationships among inscribed angles, radii, and chords. Include the relationship between central, inscribed, and circumscribed angles; inscribed angles on a diameter are right angles; the radius of a circle is perpendicular to the tangent where the radius intersects the circle.

What is a tangent line to a circle?
Why is a tagent line and a radius perpendicular?
How many times does a tangent line cross a circle?

We look at the trigonometric functions: sine, cosine, and tangent used to work out sides and angles in right angle triangles.
You will learn the following steps -
1. Labelling the sides - opposite, adjacent and hypotenuse,
2. Determining which trig function should be used - SOHCAHTOA - (sin = opposite / hypotenuse,
cos = adjacent / hypotenuse, tan = opposite / hypotenuse)
3. Substitution of values.
4. Calculation.
By going though all the trigonomic functions this video will help you master this topic - through the use of a few math tricks! To donate to the tecmath channel: https://paypal.me/tecmath?locale.x=en_AU To donate to the tecmath channel: https://paypal.me/tecmath?locale.x=en_AU

How Many Faces, Edges And Vertices Does A Triangular Pyramid Have?
Here we’ll look at how to work out the faces, edges and vertices of a triangular pyramid.
We’ll start by counting the faces, these are the flat surfaces that make the 3D shape. A triangular pyramid has 4 faces altogether - all triangles.
Next we’ll work out how many edges the tetrahedron has, which are where two faces meet. A triangular pyramid has 6 edges.
Next we’ll count the corners of the tetrahedron (the corners). 4 altogether.

For the full playlist for the faces, edges and Vertices of a whole lot of 3D shapes go to https://www.youtube.com/playli....st?list=PLjbxBzUM6SL
