Early Math on Khan Academy: Math begins with counting. It's the most important skill we learn in our early years and becomes the foundation for all other math concepts. Once we can count, we can add, subtract, and measure the world around us. Shortly thereafter, we can learn about place values, plots, graphs, time, money, and shapes. These early math skills are presented in this subject's tutorials in a straightforward, understandable, and (dare we say it) fun way!

How to prepare for math competitions? How to understand math intuitively? How to learn math? How to practice your math skills? These are all questions I address in this video!
▬ In this video ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
I explain why most people struggle with mathematics, despite not lacking intelligence or knowledge. This video is not limited to students in school or university, but rather applies to everyone interested in using the full potential of math intuition. I created this video together with my friends at MIT, who all attended and won different math competitions/olympiads during high school.

Learn Counting to 1000 | Math Song for Kids
Learning to count is usually a kid’s first introduction to mathematics. It paves the pathway for more mathematical activities and helps in the toddler’s brain development. Learning counting for toddlers and kids is a very important activity. It is not always necessary to teach numbers with the use of worksheets or writing. There are several counting games, abacus instruments, educational videos and math songs for kids. In preschool or as a toddler, kids start counting by ones and by second grade they are skip counting and counting to thousands. The best strategy to learn to count for toddlers is to tell them to count anything and everything.
Here are a few ideas to learn to count for kids.
DIY Number Puzzles:
It’s a homemade matching number activity that can easily be incorporated in the classroom or at home during your kid’s playtime. You can easily make the puzzle and customize it to suit the abilities and needs of your child. Here is what you have to do:
1. Cover or line a table with black paper. (you can also use some floor area)
2. Print t=the numbers and cut them out.
3. Using a white crayon, trace the outside of numbers on the black paper.
Start Playing!
Number Play Dough:
It’s a good activity to teach and reinforce learning of numbers in kids.
1. Get some playdough and a rolling pin.
2. Print out printable number mats.
3. Collect some number of cookie cutters or take a plastic knife.
4. Start making numbers with your kid using play dough.
5. Also, teach your kid the concept of “how many” to make a number.
It is an interactive game that uses visual learning to reinforce the numbers in a kid’s brain.
You can also use math songs and animated educational videos to teach counting up to 1000.
