The Battle of Goose Green was the first land battle of the Falklands War.
Starting in the early hours of the 28th of May and ending the following day, the battle saw men from the British 2nd Battalion of the Parachute Regiment (2 PARA) against an enemy more than three times as numerous.

The 369th Infantry Regiment was constituted on 2nd June 1913 in the New York Army National Guard as the 15th New York Infantry Regiment. And would become known as the first ‘African-American regiment’ to serve with the American Expeditionary Forces during World War I.
