👉 Learn how to find the slope between two points. The slope of a line is the steepness of the line. The horizontal line has a zero slope while the vertical line has an undefined slope. To determine the slope of a line passing through two points, we need to know the coordinates of 2 points on the line. Then the slope of the line is given by the quotient of the difference between the y-coordinates and the difference between the x-coordinates. i.e. slope = (y2 - y1) / (x2 - x1).

👉 Learn how to solve multi-step equations with variable on both sides of the equation. An equation is a statement stating that two values are equal. A multi-step equation is an equation which can be solved by applying multiple steps of operations to get to the solution.

To solve a multi-step equation, we first combine like terms by taking the variable terms to one side of the equality sign and the constant terms to the other side of the equation and evaluate them, then we can isolate the variable by multiplying both sides by the reciprocal of the coefficient of the variable.
