Scientists overwhelmingly agree that our climate is changing, Earth is getting warmer, sea levels are rising, and it's primarily because of humans putting lots of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. Yet 4 in 10 Americans aren't convinced. Here's what psychologists and sociologists have to say about why some people don't believe in climate science.

If everyone would just put more in the recycling bin instead of the trash can, the world would be a better place. Right? Well, thatโ€™s not exactly true. For many items that end up in the recycling bin, youโ€™ve actually created more trash by trying to recycle them. Youโ€™ve also made it harder to recycle the stuff that CAN be saved, and basically demonstrated that recycling is brokenโ€ฆ at least the way we do it today. Hereโ€™s how we can fix it.

What can you recycle? Some helpful links:

For more like this go to https://www.letsdomath.ca/
It's an easy-to-use route to resources, faster than scrolling through videos on YT!

Before you come to this, you need to be confident making new equivalent fractions.

Quick review of how to add fractions when they have the same denominator
(0:21 - 0:36) Demo of adding 2 fractions with different denominators, using fractions model diagrams. 1/4 + 1/2
(0:46 - 1:33) Then, keeping that model in view, we dip into our Fractions Skill-kit to make a common denominator, and THEN we add.
(2:03 - 3:25) Problem 2: 5/6 + 2/3 = 1/2
(3:33 - 5:28) Problem 3: 1/3 + 1/6 + 5/8
If you CAN reduce, you MUST reduce, for your final answer. No improper fractions in your answer.
